Digital guides and apps for museums are not only suitable for large houses, state museums and foundations. Smaller institutions, such as the Deutsches Stuhlbaumuseum (German Chair Building Museum) in Rabenau near Dresden, benefit from the digital possibilities of their own app.

With the App through the Senckenberg Nature Museum

At the beginning of April 2019 KULDIG completed the new app for the Senckenberg Nature Museum in Frankfurt am Main. It is now available to visitors as a complete multimedia guide free of charge and can be obtained from the App stores for iOS and Android. In the museum there are additional rental devices which can be used to use the guide.

Strolling in the Hessian State Museum of Art and Nature
On behalf of the Hessian State Museum of Art and Nature, KULDIG is developing a multimedia guide in the form of a mobile application until June 2019. As content management system and for the administration of the app the State Museum relies on the KULDIG AppCreator. For orientation, the specially developed indoor navigation system is integrated.
After publication, the guide will be available to visitors in the App Stores for iOS and Android. This also includes 3D objects of exhibits that are not completely visible to visitors due to their placement in showcases.
Thuringia industrial heritage experience with KULDIG

For the opening of the leading exhibition “Experience Industrial Culture - Innovative Thuringia since 1800” on 6 June 2018 in Pößneck, KULDIG created a small showcase app for Augmented Reality in cooperation with the University of Jena. The (still) non-public application for iOS and Android serves as the first basis for further cooperation with the university in processing and displaying 3D models based on mobile applications.
